I have the raw dsdt extracted with dsdt editor in windows, want me to upload it? How about the ssdt, can I use any ssdt from internet that was made for my cpu? I found a zip that some1 uploaded with loads of ssdt for many cpu's with mine inlcuded. Hey I flashed the BIOS you recommended and I am currently setting up a usb stick with ML installer.Īs for USB 3.0 I really dont need it, I just want to prevent system freezes if some usb device is plugged into that port. Sorry for my noob questions and thanks again. I feel I am beeing such a pain in the ass. Is this loading time normal? At one point, when I had my system very stable (with sleep working and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext correctly loaded) it took 30s only It loaded a bunch of kext and configurations. My system was always booting in verbose mode and It would take about 3min to boot. I was only able to boot after I applied a kext pack for aspire 5750g, still with some errors during boot like the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext. They have a core i5 and mine is an i3-2310m. I know there is already some threads of aspire 5750g but they are different versions. I used some kext from a user that uploaded it I guess, and the system detected my GPU (who is really a gt520m). This one I did not really understand what I did here. Is this one of the right ways to do it? If I understood correctly I just have to patch them. I followed some instructions and as I am using windows atm, I extracted them using aida software. I will try the modded bios as you suggested. I tryed changing to a different AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext and the system would be stuck on boot at some USBMC thing i guess.no kernel panics though. I had a message during boot (verbose mode) saying it could not load AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext. Here I usually did not get kernel panics. What happened was when I plugged any device to my usb 3.0 port, the system would freeze and I had to restart. I'll install the one you suggested.Īs for USB 3.0 I will try your suggestion. I may not have fully explained my situation.Ītm I am running a modded version BIOS for my pc. There is already a forum for this laptop, But if I were you I would forget about it. I cannot for the life of me get this recognised (only in 10.7) many people can't either, so not sure how you done it. It has many CPUs so you just have to select which CPU you have and install. I would use the HP ProBook Installer created by members from here. This provides correct P-states and C-states for your processor (which maybe why you are getting Kernel Panics from AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext). Use something like DSDT Editor or MaciASL. I will attach the patches for you, so then you can extract your own DSDT and patch yourself. I can patch your DSDT for you, however I don't think you can extract a plain DSDT without patching it, as it has errors, so you wouldn't be able to upload it. What BIOS version are you using? With the unlocked version 1.21 modded by Akbar102 you get native power management, so this would mean that you would not get Kernel Panics when using AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext.ĭSDT helps with functionality of your system. You should then be able to remove the kext that you installed which is located in /System/Library/Extensions/, after that you will need to rebuild your cache, so use something like Kext Utility. You should be able to boot in safe mode, which is done by using "-x" in the Chimera/Chameleon bootloader. PS: I managed at some point to get mac os x to recognize my nvidia card as a gt540m with some random patches but never fully tested it. And is there a difference between DSDT and SSDT? Sorry for newbie questions, I just started hackintoshing some days ago. If I upload an extracted dsdt from windows can some1 help me patch it? I cant understand yet what it really does and how to install it (just place it in /Extra folder?). ![]() I need some help with the DSDT for my laptop. The main problems were AppleIntelCPUPowerManagent kext not loading successfully and not being able to boot without verbose mode. I installed the system again and never had the same results. I managed to get my machine runing very stable but after trying to install USB 3.0 kexts I corrupted the system getting kernel panics. Still being a noob in hackintoshing I had some problems. ![]() ![]() ![]() Most of my hardware was working but I still need some hints. Building a CustoMac Hackintosh: Buyer's GuideĪfter trying so many different aproaches of installing Hackintosh I had some great results.
